Finally got down to listening to this double album. Mediocre is how I’d best describe it. It certainly has its high points though. “Skinny, Mean Man”, “Baby Girl, I’m a Blur”, and “In Defense Of The Genre” are my favorites. Although I’m not often very critical of lyrics Max Bemis’ lyrics can either be fun or just plain annoying, and that kind of turned me off to a lot of songs. “Sorry, Dudes, My Bad.” is fun with a real catchy hook. The title track is great!

Motion City Soundtrack – Even If It Kills Me

Ok, i didn’t really like this album very much, but there are 7 tracks listed. There are portions of each of these songs that are pretty good but overall this album is nothing compared to their earlier stuff. I’ve heard it grows on you so i’ll give it my best. At this point i’m saying that this is almost not worth your time.

Sherwood – A Different Light

I saw these guys live with Motion City Soundtrack. They were pretty good live so i thought i’d give them a shot. After listening to their album i didn’t think they were so fantastic anymore. “Give Up!” is my favorite on here. “Best In Me” is pretty good too. They could get better.

Sunny Day Real Estate – How It Feels To Be Something On

Type : Emo / Rock

Good Tracks:

10. Days Were Golden

These three songs were great, but I don’t know about the rest of the album. I don’t think I dislike it, I may just need to give this a few more listens. The other tracks do seem to be growing on me.
