Good Tracks:
1. “The Mending of the Gown” – 5:37
2. “Magic vs. Midas” – 6:00
6. “Colt Stands Up, Grows Horns” – 4:55
7. “Stallion” – 6:46
8. “For the Pier (and Dead Shimmering)” – 5:15
9. “The Taming of the Hands That Came Back to Life” – 6:07
12. “Child-Heart Losers” – 2:01
Very excellent. First track feels like 10 different awesome songs, second track has a really great ending, sixth track has some fantastic guitar work. “Stallion” and “”The Taming of the Hands That Came Back to Life” are in a tie for best on the album. The last track closes out the album pretty perfectly.

Good Tracks:
3. Laser Life
4. Camouflage, Camouflage
14. Street Wars/Exotic Foxholes
Not into this so much. The singer can either be great or terrible, and mostly i’m just not into what he’s doing. “Street Wars” is a great song and a good example of their singer not douching it up.

Type: Indie Rock-Rap
Good Tracks:
1. 21st Century Pop Song
4. Ghost Dream
12. America Too
The dudes from “Why?” and “Fog” got together to make this side project. If I listened to this more I’d probably find some more tracks I really like, but these stuck out pretty easily. First track is the standout, and “Ghost Dream” has some great lyrics. If you’re a fan of “Why?” or “Fog” you’re going to like this.

Good Tracks:
1. Download Sofist
3. Mykologics
5. Diskdusk
6. Pinwheel Herman
8. Albion Rose
Fun electro. Not repetitive at all and lots of great instrumentals thrown in. “Albion Rose” is the best track and has great use of trumpet!

Type: 80’s Grunge Indie Punk
Good Tracks:
2. Silver Rocket
7. Hey Joni
Overrated maybe. “Silver Rocket” is an amazing song, and possibly the only one worthy of being played on its own. You sort of have to listen to this album as a whole to really enjoy it. Perhaps I haven’t listened to enough Sonic Youth to properly judge them.

Good Tracks:
2. Everything (As It Moves)
3. No Emotion
6. Future Works
9. Once In Your Life
Decent. Third track is great, and the second track is sort of growing on me. This is the only album of theirs i’ve heard, and i’ve read that they have at least one really good track on each album.

Type: U.K. Rock
Good Tracks:
7. Gravity’s Rainbow
10. It’s Not Over Yet
Really not that great at all except for these 2 songs. Those are some really great songs though and are worth a listen. I don’t think you’d find anything spectacular from the rest of this album.

Type: Brit-Pop
Good Tracks:
1. Romantic Type
2. I Found Out
4. Caught In Your Trap
6. I’m Not Sorry
7. You Know I Love You
9. You Better Not Look My Way
10. Take Her Back
I wouldn’t go as far to say this is good, it’s just fun to listen to when you’re in the mood for a small dance party. Pretty lame lyrics and cliche guitar riffs. Still fun though.

Type: Experimental Ambient Jazz
Good Tracks:
1. Whitewash
3. Ghost
8. Lone Sal Bug
Pretty good. Not many songs listed but that doesn’t mean the rest isn’t worth listening to. “Lone Sal Bug” is a great track with some excellent guitar work. Very jazzy type stuff from Buckethead here.

Type: Indie
Good Tracks:
1. Burning
2. Golden Cage
7. Inflation
These three songs are fantastic. I think this album is going to grow on me eventually, but i really didn’t care much for any but these three songs. Definitely worth checking out. Their lead singer is Erland Oye from Kings Of Convenience. If you like that stuff you’ll really like this.

Type: Rock/Trip-Pop
Good Tracks:
1. Sell This Thing
2. Phase 2
4. Portland
Starts off really strong and doesn’t offer much toward the end. It’s a shame because i really like the first two songs. “Phase 2″ has some pretty guitar work. The entire song is real nice. “Portland” is a really great instrumental.

Good Tracks:
2. The Best In Me
3. Middle Of The Night
7. Give Up!
I saw these guys live with Motion City Soundtrack. They were pretty good live so i thought i’d give them a shot. After listening to their album i didn’t think they were so fantastic anymore. “Give Up!” is my favorite on here. “Best In Me” is pretty good too. They could get better.
